Cohort Programs: Circles
True and lasting change happens in community.
Information is useful, but rarely leads to lasting change. Transformation occurs in relationships, through repeated interactions that offer opportunities to reflect and choose responses, and safe enough spaces to practice new ways of being.
When you participate in one of our cohort programs, called a Circle, you will connect with a small group of participants seeking mutual growth, facilitated by a trained Convener.
- If you’re seeking personal support, perhaps through a challenging season or transition, consider a Resilience Circle.
- If you’re seeking to affect changes in your team or organization, consider a Leaders Circle.
Content changes regularly, so repeat participation is allowed and encouraged.
Joining a Circle gives you “a different perspective– you can say things to them that you can’t say to people who are in your life every day. The gift of community may be the people who want to grow, who are willing to do the work, and they may not necessarily be your peers in your hometown.” -Cohort participant
Resilience Circles: Join the Waitlist for 2024
Cultivate a good life that supports your good work.
You care about your community, and you do work for the common good. Your work is meaningful—but it’s also demanding of your time, energy, and your very self.
It may feel like doing good work infringes on having a good life.
It doesn’t have to be this way. You can cultivate resilience and make changes that bring more goodness to your work, to your relationships, and to your life. Journey with a group of peers to make meaning from hardship, develop your resilience, and start your transformation.

What cohort participants are saying:
“When I came to the Circle, I was in a really broken place [because of] the weight of my leadership and the culture of my church. Normally I suck it up and put on a brave face and be the person everyone is expecting me to be. I came to the group and looked in their eyes and I knew I didn’t have to: there was an invitation to be broken, be a mess, be not the smartest person in the room. [I was] invited to be the leader that doesn’t have all the answers.” -Cohort participant
“If I index my overall heart, I have both a sense of being settled, and of knowing who I am and what I’m about, and that some of the nagging pain that I’ve carried is diminished and continuing to diminish.” -Cohort participant
