Virtual Summit: Understanding Christian Nationalism and the Crisis of the State
Online Summit for Christian Leaders on White Christian Nationalism, State Power, and Faithful Public Witness
Join the Center for Transforming Engagement for Understanding Christian Nationalism and the Crisis of the State, a seven part online summit designed to equip pastors, priests, bishops, formation leaders, and Christian ministry leaders with theological clarity, historical grounding, and practical tools for faithful leadership in polarized times.
This summit will help Christian leaders recognize and respond to white Christian nationalism with wisdom, courage, and care. Through sessions with trusted theologians, pastors, historians, and formation leaders, participants will explore how Christian faith can be misused in service of nationalism, state power, racialized fear, immigration enforcement, and public violence.
Across two days, this online summit will offer language, context, and practices for leaders who are preaching, teaching, discipling, and offering pastoral care in communities shaped by fear and division.
Participants will learn how to name white Christian nationalism clearly, understand the history behind this present moment, and lead people toward truth, repair, hope, and a more faithful Christian witness.
