What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our blog, website or app?

When Filling out any of our interest forms, making a donation or volunteering for engaging with CTE, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, organization name, congregation name, location or other details to help you with your experience.

When signing up for a promotion or signing up for a newsletter you will be asked to enter you email address and name to help with you experience.

When do we collect information?

We collect information from you when you subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form or enter information on our site.

The Center for Transforing Engagement is based in the United States, in the state of Washington, and any information transmitted to us may be stored, accessed, or processed in the United States. Residents of some other countries, and some other US states or territories, including residents of the European Union, should be aware that the laws of the United States do not offer the same protections as the laws of your home country.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register for an event, request information online, make a donation, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.

All persons who enter information or fill out a form on the The Center for Transforing Engagement website will be added to our newsletter mailing list.

How do we protect your information?

We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.

An external PCI compliant payment gateway handles all Credit Card transactions.

We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user donates monies, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
