A few weeks ago, we held a celebration ceremony to honor the work that has been done to launch the Center for Transforming Engagement.
Whether you celebrated with us from a distance or in person at The Seattle School, thank you for being a part of the launch of the Center for Transforming Engagement. Your investment of prayers, time, and discernment have made this new Center possible, and we are so grateful.
As Derek McNeil said: “Broken hearts, broken relationships, broken communities are what we’re facing as a society.” In the midst of those challenges, we recognize that relationships are the key to unlocking social change.
The Center for Transforming Engagement goes beyond traditional leadership training to cultivate leaders and teams who are resilient in the midst of changing contexts, and to equip them with the tools for change. Our vision is for leaders who are able to combine the Christian values of faith, hope, and love while applying tools from the social sciences to develop social cohesion and rebuild communities.
We look forward to continuing conversations with you as we journey together to transform our lives, our teams, our communities, and the world – one relationship at a time.
